Aiken, Leary, Dehney, Payne, and Dumas Visit Victory Lane!

Hudson, NH- After a rainout and a week off mother nature gave a beautiful hot day for racing! The Pro Four Modified’s of New England made their first of two scheduled stops. Additionally, the MLM Diagnostic Services Pure Stocks, Granite State Indoor Range Six Shooters, Ridge Runners, Northeast Auto Imports Super Streets, and MacMulkin Chevrolet Sportsman Modified’s were all on the schedule!

The Pro Four Modified’s of New England rolled in 18 cars strong looking to do battle on high banks of Hudson Speedway. Heat race wins went to the 37 of Eddie Petruskevicius, 57 of Kurt Lester, and the 821 of Robert Matheson. Jack Dumas parked his 4XL in victory lane in a convincing fashion after taking the lead on lap 12 and never looking back. Rob Richardi in the 0 car took over the 2nd spot on lap 13 and held onto the position even with having to fend off 3rd place finisher Max Zachem as they battled lap traffic. For full official results check them out online and on their Facebook page.

MLM Diagnostic Services Pure Stocks heat race was won by car #17 Bobby Payne. Payne would jump out to the early lead in the feature and would lead every lap on his way to collect his 2nd win of the season. Carlos Grenier in the 1nh worked his way up to the 2nd spot by lap 5 and started to give chase but would start to fade late in the race due to a rear brake caliper sticking but would hold on to 2nd. Shayla Kirk in the #71 would collect her first podium finish of the season after showing speed in the previous events she was able to show the consistency needed to finish 3rd!

Ridge Runners heat race was won by the 47 of Brian Caswell. In the feature the 7 of Ricky Marrocco and the 59 Callie Osborne would run the first few laps side by side before Osborne took over the lead until Caswell worked his way to the point in lap 8. Caution would fly on lap 13 after Marrocco got sideways out of turn 4 and while trying to collect it, he made contact with the 5 of Jessica Coulter sending her spinning and barely missing the inside retaining wall but ending the day for Coulter. Caswell would lead the rest of the way but would feel pressure from the 01 of William Eastman the last few laps. Caswell took the win followed by Eastman in 2nd and the 9NH of Cody Boucher who ran a quiet race staying out of trouble to finish 3rd. In a post-race inspection, Caswell was disqualified for a tire rue infraction awarding Eastman the win.

Granite State Indoor Range Six Shooters ran race #3 in the Krupski Memorial Six Shooter Showdown. Michael Yeaton Jr. in the 25NH won the heat race. In the feature Erin Aiken in the 33 started 4th but took the lead on lap 2 and led the rest of the way. Steve Miller Sr. in the 68 ran second from lap 2 on as he tried everything he could to catch Aiken but would have to settle for 2nd. The 3rd spot went to the 17x of Trystin Boswell who continues to put together a great season at the High Banks.

Northeast Auto Imports Super Streets heat races were won by the 22 of Austin Erickson and the 213 of Stephen Dubois, however Dubois was DQ’ed for an infraction of the spoiler rule and would have to start last for the feature. Chuck Dehney in the 33w lead green to checker on his way to collecting his first win of the season.
